At Rs 22,990, this seems to be a very reasonably priced high-end handset with equally appealing specification.
Motorola Atrix 2 is now available in India for Rs 22,990. Though it does not have the best of specifications amongst high end smartphones, but it certainly offers the best for the price.
Motorola Atrix 2 comes with a 4.3-inch qHD display with a resolution of 540×960, 1 GHz dual-core processor, 8 GB internal memory which can be expanded to 32GB, 8 megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel front camera as well. The phone is based on Android 2.3 OS
Atrix 2 is also compatible with Motorola's lapdock, which is a laptop shaped docking station that has its own battery and screen but uses phones processing power to deliver laptop like experience. Currently this docking station is not available in India, however with the launch of two compatible devices (Motorola RAZR and Atrix 2) in India, we can expect the lapdock to come to our country very soon.
The well designed Motorola Atrix 2 comes preloaded with EA games. At Rs 22,990, this phone is priced in the close vicinity of phones like HTC Desire HD, HTC Radar (Windows Phone), Blackberry Bold 9780, and Samsung Galaxy R.

BlackBerry to open 4,000 new outlets
BlackBerry manufacturer Research In Motion (RIM) plans to open 4,000 outlets across the archipelago to strengthen its market in Indonesia, a RIM executive said.
“We plan to establish 4,000 points of sale, for customers throughout Indonesia to try and to buy BlackBerry products and services,” RIM senior public relations manager for Southeast Asia Oliver Pilgerstorfer told The Jakarta Post in a statement on Monday.
The 4,000 outlets is the target for RIM during the new financial year which started last week and will finish at the end of Feb 2013, he said.
He refused to comment on investment spent to open the outlets, but he said the initiative was in line with the BlackBerry retail stores program where RIM opened dedicated BlackBerry stores with their key partners for customers to get the full BlackBerry experience.
The stores include those opened in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Roxy Mas, Central Jakarta, and Gandaria City, South Jakarta. (nfo)

iPhone 5 Release Date: Will Galaxy S3 Pose a Threat?
iPhone 5 Release Date: Will Galaxy S3 Pose a Threat?
There is no denying that the Smartphone Battle of the Year 2012 will be between two giants, the Apple iPhone 5, and Samsung Galaxy S3, both of which are yet to be released. MWC (Mobile World Congress) came and went and nothing about the Galaxy S3 was shown by Samsung, which means, the company could be playing its cards close to the chest, or waiting to see what Apple has in store before it does anything. Apple on the other hand, remains tightlipped as usual, about what the next generation iPhone will look like or feature, leaving the task of prophesying to the rumor mills. Hence the big debate – which smartphone will be better? iPhone 5 or Galaxy S3?
When both devices are out later this year, the big question that will be on everyone’s lips is which handset will stand tall over the other. It was recently reported that Apple plans an announcement of the iPhone 5 at the World Wide Developer Conference in June 2012 (though others claim iPhone 5 will be unveiled during the fall, much like iPhone 4S). No word on when Samsung plans to announce the Galaxy S3. If the device is a huge upgrade over the Samsung Galaxy S2 as expected, Samsung might just sent out a few invites to its own little thing.
Recent reports have pegged the Samsung Galaxy S3 as a true super smartphone. Specs include a massive 4.8-inch Super AMOLED+ display that is capable of issuing full 1080p video content. Having 1080p playback on a smartphone is all good and dandy, but if it doesn’t do it correctly, then such a device is not worth the cost. We have seen smartphones with 1080p playback before. They were nothing special, but since the Galaxy S3 is rumored to be packing a super fast quad core chip running at 1.5GHz, this might not be the case. Along with mentioned specifications, the device is also expected to release with an 8-megapixel sharp shooter, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.

It is clear that from these rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S3 could be one meaty smartphone only to be owned by gods amongst men.
The Apple iPhone 5 is also expected to have a high resolution HD capable of displaying full 1080p HD content just like the iPad 3. Not only that, the device could use the same quad core chipset rumored to feature in the iPad 3, along with iOS 6 at the helm. Multiple rumors suggest the device to come kicking with a 12 megapixel camera, though since this is Apple we’re talking about, the company might view so many megapixels as an overkill, and would likely keep it at 8-megapixels to keep cost down.
There are also rumors of an upgrade to the size of the display from 3.5-inches to 4. A 4-inch iPhone would put the device on the same level as many Android smartphones, and it is likely that 4-inch screen will be around for years to come before it changes. For those who would want LTE, it is highly likely Apple will choose to abandon LTE until the next version after the iPhone 5. Sorry about that boys.
Between the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S 3, which one will take home the grand prize? We are going to say the iPhone 5. Samsung focuses too much on speed and power, while its TouchWiz skin over Android is still clunky. On the other hand, Apple focuses on both hardware and software and does a perfect job in combining those two, and this is why the iPhones feel good in the hand and is so easy to use.
In conclusion, Samsung has a winner in its hands with Galaxy S3, but we doubt whether it will match up to Apple’s own offerings with the iPhone 5.
